Twenty people have been selected from a list of 119 nominees for the title of the most outstanding Vietnamese young people for 2013. The selection was jointly made by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund. Those selected have gained outstanding achievements in their fields, including studies, scientific research, production, business, national defense, social order, art and sports. The organising board plans to organise online voting to select the 10 most outstanding people. The awarding ceremony is scheduled to be held on the anniversary of the Youth Union, on March 26.
