They hope that the campaigns will attract around 20,000 who will later take action to protect the environment and raise awareness among young people. Some of the funds will be used to help grow a mangrove forest. These activities are being held in conjunction with Earth Hour 2014. This year's theme is entitled "I Will If You Will". The plan is to grow 3,000 mangrove trees in a flood-prone area located in the central province of Thua Thien Hue. The young artists are expected to attract the participation of many students. Students from Viet Duc and Tran Phu High Schools in Hanoi have actively taken part in the campaigns by collecting waste for recycling, collecting litter and saving energy.
