International stars to hit capital stage
HA NOI (VNS) - A concert featuring international artists will open tonight at Ha Noi's National Convention Centre. The concert titled H-Artistry (formerly Hennessy Artistry after the brandy making sponsors) will feature American Kelly Rowland, Australian Tim Omaji (Timomatic), South Korean band Nemesis and Vietnamese singers Trang Phap and DJ Slim V. Rowland, a former Destiny's Child member, appeared at a press conference after arriving in Ha Noi late on Tuesday night. She said Destiny's Child had enabled her to travel around the world and make many friends and many fans. She often talks to band members by phone, but said there was no talk of regrouping. "I'm extremely excited about the warm welcome from Vietnamese fans. I promise to be extremely cute in the show tomorrow night," she said when asked what dress she would wear for the show. She will perform with musicians representing different genres of music. Tim Omaji, better known by his stage name, Timomatic, is a Nigerian-born Australian singer-songwriter and dancer.
